How it works

One foundation. Six tools. One ladder.

Every tool in the toolkit works the same way and is priced the same way. They read your documents through one shared engine, and each offers the same ladder — start free, have your extracted figures verified for £500, validate the findings with an expert, scale to a hands-on engagement. Here's how the pieces fit.

◆ The shared foundation

Upload once, understood the same way

Whatever tool you use, your documents pass through the same four steps. The toolkit reads a mixed bundle, throws out anything that isn't a real maintenance or lease document, and turns the rest into one clean, structured picture the analysis can run on.

1

Upload your bundle

Contracts, invoices, the workscope workbook, task cards, lease and redelivery documents — whatever you have.

2

Read & sort

Each file is read and sorted. Anything irrelevant (a photo, a personal note) is set aside with a reason, never silently used.

3

One common standard

The rest is read into one common standard — contracts, invoices, workscopes, task cards, lease terms — every item traceable to its source line.

4

Analyse & score

The tool's diagnostics run on that clean data and produce your results, with everything tied back to where it came from.

Bundle pipeline: read, sort, extract, verify — source documents are not stored, they are processed transiently and discarded

Why it matters: because every tool shares this engine, a document you upload is understood the same way across the toolkit — and every figure can be traced back to a source line or a clause.

◆ The tier ladder

What changes as you move up

The ladder is the same for every tool. Each step adds more certainty and more of ATAS's hands-on involvement — the free tier proves the value, the paid rungs let you act on it.

Tier 01
Free diagnostic
Free

A real but deliberately incomplete result — indicative ranges and a section heatmap. Enough to show you where the value is and whether it's worth going further. Watermarked, not for commercial citation.

You see the picture. The detailed evidence behind it is visibly locked.
Stage 1(a)
Verified data pack
£500 · 24 hours

From the document-upload route: the free extraction preview shows what the toolkit read; the data pack has a specialist verify every extracted field and returns the completed spreadsheet — your documents, turned into checked figures.

You get the facts, human-verified. The analysis of what they mean is the next rung.
Tier 02
Expert-validated pack
Fixed price

An ATAS specialist reviews every finding, removes false positives, and quantifies it at your real rates. This unlocks the line-level evidence and the worked deliverable — released to you as a tokened, human-verified deliverable page you can share.

You get a document you can act on, validated by a person.
Tier 03
Bespoke engagement
Scoped per engagement

ATAS does the work with you — on-site, negotiation strategy, hands-on delivery. For the contract work this splits into two shapes: a deep-dive to recover cost on a current check, and an RFP procedure to rebuild the contract at renewal. You can take one or both.

What you're buying at this tier is ATAS expertise; the tools are the way in.
◆ How the tools relate

Same engine, same ladder, different question

The tools are independent — use any one on its own. But they share the foundation and the tier ladder above, so they fit together naturally across the life of an aircraft and the team around it.

Heavy maintenance

Cost Intelligence & Contract Architecture

Are you billed correctly against the contract, and is that contract fit for the next cycle? Spend audit + contract score from your check bundle.

Open diagnostic →
Lease & redelivery

End-of-Lease Contract Review

Is the aircraft in contracted return condition, and who owes whom at handback? Readiness score + settlement exposure from the lease bundle.

Open review →
Engine trading

Engine Evaluation

Is the engine's condition sound, are the records complete, and is the ask price consistent? A GO / CAUTION / NO-GO verdict from typed figures or the engine documents.

Open evaluation →
APU trading

APU Evaluation

The same trade verdict for auxiliary power units — hours and starts as separate clocks, and APU types with no LLPs scored fairly rather than marked incomplete.

Open evaluation →
Materials

Consumables & Expendables

Is this sealant, lubricant or expendable an acceptable equivalent? A spec-crosswalk with graded, evidence-cited answers and restriction sunset flags.

Open crosswalk →
Team effectiveness

Team Profilers

How does the team running the work communicate and solve problems? Individual cards that aggregate into a team map.

◆ When they work together

On a fleet transition you might run Cost Intelligence on the heavy checks to recover billing, the End-of-Lease review on the aircraft being handed back, the Engine and APU Evaluations on the units being traded or swapped in the deal, the Consumables crosswalk on the materials bill behind the workscope, and the Team Profilers on the joint operator–MRO team doing the work. Different questions — spend, contract, lease, engines, APUs, materials, people — answered on the same standard, so the findings line up instead of living in separate spreadsheets.
